Unshakable You: How to Find Ease with Change and Free Yourself

Access Bars session bringing ease with change and releasing cognitive dissonance

How to Find Ease with Change and Free Yourself with Access Bars & the Clearing Statement

Having Your Own Back: What Does It Really Mean?

Do you ever feel like you don’t fully have your own back, that part of you is holding back, judging, second-guessing, ready to bail when life shifts? What if you could change that? What if ease with change could become your new norm, not occasional, but foundational?

In a recent Tour of Consciousness video, Dr Dain Heer invites us to consider: what if now is the time to have your back? He explores how we often subconsciously leave doors open behind us, energy, judgments, beliefs, fears, that keep us tethered to the past, stuck in loops of resistance. What if closing those back doors and committing to your life could shift everything?

Closing Your Back Doors and Committing to Your Life

“Closing your back doors” is a metaphor for no longer leaving space for regret, resentment, old stories, self-judgment, or sabotage to sneak in.

These back doors keep you half-in, half-out. They drain your energy and dilute your capacity to lean fully into now. They block change because they maintain a fallback position.

What if you could release those old patterns and create ease with change by giving yourself permission to be fully here?

Finding Ease with Change Through Access Bars

Access Bars is one of the foundational tools of Access Consciousness. A simple treatment that involves gently touching the head, this can release stored charge (thoughts, emotions, decisions, mental energies), so new possibilities open.

When your energy is lighter, change flows more easily. You don’t have to fight with yourself to adapt; instead, you discover space for choice, freedom, and ease with change.

Cognitive Dissonance: Why You Feel Stuck

Cognitive dissonance is that uncomfortable tension we feel when our beliefs, thoughts, or behaviours conflict. Maybe you say, “I want to feel safe,” but you keep replaying betrayals. Or you affirm, “I’m worthy,” but self-sabotage around money continues.

This tug-of-war is exhausting. You’re always trying to reconcile two opposing stories inside, and it keeps you from experiencing true ease with change.

Clearing Cognitive Dissonance with the Access Clearing Statement

Here’s where the Access Clearing Statement becomes powerful. It’s a simple, profound tool that allows you to destroy and uncreate whatever is holding the dissonance in place, the judgments, the right/wrong stories, the hidden commitments.

The full statement is:

Right and Wrong, Good and Bad, POD and POC, All 100, Shorts, Boys, POVADs, Creations, Bases and Beyonds.

It sounds unusual, but its magic lies in shifting energy, not logic. Even using the shorthand, “POC and POD it”, can release stuck thoughts and feelings in the moment.

What If You Didn’t Need a Problem?

Here’s a radical possibility: what if you didn’t need something “wrong” to feel alive, to grow, or to change? What if your value and joy didn’t depend on struggle?

When you start to let go of needing problems, you open the door to possibility without resistance. That’s where you discover a natural ease with change; life doesn’t have to be a battle, it can be an unfolding of choice and creation.

3 Practical Tips to Create Ease with Change Now

1. Scan for Back Doors

Pause and sense inward. Notice where your mind is holding a door open, “just in case,” “what if,” “safe fallback.” Simply naming them is the first step to closing them.

2. Run the Access Consciousness Clearing Statement

Whenever you feel stuck, say:

“Everything that brings that up, I destroy and uncreate it all. Right, Wrong, Good, Bad, POD, POC, All 100, Shorts, Boys, POVADs, Creations, Bases & Beyonds.”

Notice how the energy shifts and creates more ease with change.

3. Get Your Bars Run

Receiving Access Bars is like pressing the “delete” button for mental clutter. You relax, receive, and allow the energy to reset, leaving more space for choice and ease.
